It's a shame what people think passes for good reporting these days.
Though, I thank you, Miss Rivers. The public is now anxious to hear my side of the story. In your attempt to dethrone me, you've simply given me yet another opportunity to prove to the world just how invaluable I am.
But remember, my dear, it is not wise to battle someone with far more skill and wit than you. It seems your Gryffindor bravery has gotten you into a mess you can't possibly have expected.

Oh how delightful. Circulation for Witch Weekly went up ten percent with my newest article. The owners are more than pleased with the increase and have been kind enough to offer me the position of editor-in-cheif. Imagine, an entire publication at my disposal to use as I see fit.
What a perfect day to start my weekend. I wonder if any other idiot children were foolish enough to cause a scene. I could quite enjoy this new line of work. It's incredibly entertaining.
I am going to assume that plently will happen at this opening. A perfect opportunity to find out what these young people are up to now. I couldn't ask for things to be more perfect. |

My fifth book has just been approved by my editor. Much of the book has been completed and I expect to have it published late this summer. Inside the Ministry will be a revealing and shocking book about the lies, deceit and corruption within the Ministry of Magic. I cannot tell you all how thrilled and delighted I have to have the truth come out once again. Too often we are overly accepting of the lies handed to us by those in power. We must take the time to examine their motives and statements.
The last stages of my newest publication depend, however, on finding an assistant. This is the largest investigation I've attempted and proving more difficult than I thought. I suppose I'll place an advert in the Prophet this weekend. Surely there are some young people interested in finding out the truth. |
